Shipping And Return


We ship within India from our New Delhi Office via First Flight and overseas through DHL. Shipping is currently free for all orders within India until otherwise specified. Once your order is processed and dispatched it is usually delivered within 3-7 days. 


For items that are in our warehouse, please allow 1-2 weeks for the item to be processed and delivered. Specially-made or handcrafted products especially Evening gowns or embellished garments are usually shipped within 4-6 weeks and can take even longer depending on the intricate work of the design. On the product page for each item, you'll see an accurate delivery estimate. E.g. 4-6 weeks. Some of the items are already in stock and they ship much quicker. If you ordered multiple items, some items may be shipped separately so that we can ensure prompt delivery. For further details please mail us at with your order number. 


After placing an order, you will receive an e-mail acknowledgment. This will be followed by another e-mail once we have verified your payment details and approved your order for shipping. In the event of a problem in processing your order, you will receive an e-mail detailing the issue and possibly requesting further information. 

You will receive regular e-mail updates on the delivery status of your order. You can also check the status in the My Account section of or for International shipments, on by inserting the tracking number supplied.


Firstly, we'd like to apologize. We work hard to reduce lead times and avoid delays, which we let you know about as and when they arise. If you've been waiting longer than you should have and you haven't heard from us, please email us at and we will get back to you within 24 hours. 


For all customers outside India, import duty is not included in the prices you see online. You may have to pay import duties upon receipt of your order or at a later date depending on your customs authority. You will not have to pay VAT or sales taxes, but there may be other local taxes that you need to pay to receive your order.

What Is Your Refund, Return and Cancellation Policy for India? 

We do not cancel orders until and unless there is any clerical mistake. All such mistakes should be reported through email at Cancellation upon request and approval of refund thereafter is sole discretion of our management. The following return policy applies to India orders only. For rest of the world, please scroll down to the next question. 

Returnable Products 

Customers should look to the item's product detail page or their order history to determine if an item is returnable. All items purchased under Discount Sales or End of Season Sales are not eligible for returns. All Made-to-order items like evening gowns and couture items are not eligible for returns. Exceptions may apply so please read the return policy for each item on the live sale page very carefully. 

Returns Window 

Eligible items must be returned within 4 days of the date the item was received, or as otherwise stated on the item return policy. Returned items must be in their original condition with price tags and their seal fully intact. They must be unused, unworn, unwashed and undamaged. Please return items in their original packaging including: hangers, plastic wrap, hang tags, shoeboxes, dust bags and gift boxes. 

And for Rest of the World? 

At this time, is unable to accept returns from countries other than India, the USA and Middle East (Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman only). Of course, if your item arrives damaged or incorrect, we will make every effort to remedy the situation. Please contact for more details. 

What is your return policy for Sunglasses? 

We have a 14 day return policy for sunglasses that are marked returnable. Please look at product description Shipping& Return section for this information. Details below: 

  1. All items must be returned new, unused and with all customerservice@amitgtcouture.comand designer tags still attached. 
  1. Returns must also include the dust bag and box, as these are considered part of the product. Please place the sunglass box inside Amit GT box in order to prevent damage during shipping. 
  1. Goods are classified as faulty if they are received damaged or broken. 
  1. Your return request should be booked with our Customer Service team within 14 days of receiving your order. Refunds will be processed post Quality Check of returned item. 
  1. We will also not be able to accept the return if product : 

Is used/worn or altered.

Exhibits physical damage to the box or to the product.

Is returned without original packaging and accessories.

Serial Number is tampered.

  1. If you have received a damaged product or any item is missing, please contact us within 2 days of receiving the order. 
  1. Returns that do not meet our policy will not be accepted and will be sent back to the customer. 

What Is Your Return Policy for Beauty Products? 

Returns accepted within 7 days.Items that you no longer need must be returned in new and unopened condition with all the original packing, tags, inbox literature, freebies and accessories intact. *

Exceptions: Returns accepted within 30 days e.g. wrong product, defective/damagedDamaged/ Defective items must be returned in the original condition they were received in with all the accompanying accessories. 

How do I start the Returns Process? 

Sign in to and go to My Account. In your Returns section, select the order you want to return. In the case the item is returnable, please select it and you will be e-mailed a Returns Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number with a shipping label. 

I returned an item. When will I receive my refund? 

Once your return has been received by us and it complies with our returns policy, we will credit the refund amount on your AmitGTCouture.comaccount with store credits or credit notes. Under exceptional cases (for damaged merchandise or incorrect shipments) we will return the refund amount to the original method of payment used to place the order. Refunds will show on your account 4-5 business days from the day we receive your returned item. 

Under exceptional cases (ex. damaged products, incorrect products) we can return refunds to the original payment method you used to place your order. Please be aware that in this case, payments can take up to 14 working days to process depending on your bank or payment provider. 


All alterations have a minimum lead-time of 12 - 20 days depending on the extent of alteration required. takes 4 days to confirm the alteration after receiving a request through An alteration request is considered confirmed only when approves it. Alteration request shall be considered for measurements only and not for addition of work. Please note if goods are sent to our office without confirmation from our side, we will have them returned to your address at your own cost without any alteration.
